REPRESENTATIONOF PAYERS OF DUES Nominations for the representatives of payers of dues on the Harbour'Board closed at noon to-day. For the election of two members representing the payers of dries on ships there were only two nominations, aa follow: D. F. H. Sharpe (nominated by, K. S. Ramsay and H. L. Tapley). F. E. Tyson (W. A. Flavell and.,J.Bews). - _ Messrs Sharpe and Tyson are therefore elected for the ensuing term. For the election of one member representing the payers of harbour dues other than dues on ships, there were two nominations: — George Newey (EL C. Campbell and W. R. Brinsley). J. B. Waters (E. C. Hazlett and W. Fels), An election therefore becomes necessary, and this will be held on May 6 at the Harbour Board office. The attention of those entitled to vote at this election is drawn to the advertisement appearing in this issue, and particularly to the suggestion that the necessary authorities should he produced for inspection at the board’s office prior to the election day. Under the provisions of the Harbours Act persons exercising their right t 6 vote at this election on their own behalf cannot also vote at any other election of members of the board, and vice versa.
