COLONEL STUDHOLME
A letter of appreciation of trio hospitality extended to him and to Mrs Studholmo during their recent visit to Dunedin has been received by Professor Strong from Colonel Studholmc. It was very gratifying to the colonel to return after quite a long absence and to see something of the result of the work, which he was largely instrumental in starting. He refers especially to the acquiring of the upper Studhohne House property and to the furnishing " it ; widen was made possible by the untiring efforts of the staff and students of tho Home Science School during the Exhibition. He was also very delighted with the extension work and the linking up by this means of university work with tlm everyday life of tho people. It is largely due to overtures made by Colonel Studhohno that the Sarah Anno Rhodes Fellowships have been made available to the whole of Now Zealand University graduates, instead of to those of Victoria College only.
