The Saskatchewan Supremo Court has declared ultra vires the Grain Marketing Act passed hy tho Legislature last session. The Act was to have become effective if earned on a farmers’ plebiscite in Juno. Tho judgment, in effect, declares that a producer cannot be forced to deliver up his produce to any organisation. , ~ Mr Frank Eliason, secretary of the United Farmers of Canada (Saskatche wan section) declares that tho fight for control by the growers will bo still carried on.
