POOLING OF WHEAT
DECLARED ILLEGAL A SASKATCHEWAN RULING. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. VANCOUVER, April 27. (Received April 28, at 10 a.m.) A Regina (Saskatchewan) message states that tho pooling of wheat is illegal. The Saskatchewan Supremo Court has declared ultra vires the Grain Marketing Act passed hy tho Legislature last session. The Act was to have become effective if earned on a farmers’ plebiscite in Juno. Tho judgment, in effect, declares that a producer cannot be forced to deliver up his produce to any organisation. , ~ Mr Frank Eliason, secretary of the United Farmers of Canada (Saskatche wan section) declares that tho fight for control by the growers will bo still carried on.
