The Calm arrived this morning from Bluff to unload and load cargo. She sails this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Progress sailed last night after loading for New Plymouth and Waikato via ports. The motor ship Port Waikato left last evening for Auckland and Dargaville via ports. Duo this afternoon from Bluff, the Waipiata was to load cargo here this afternoon. She is timed to sail late to-night for Oamaru, Timaru, Wellington, and Aiickland. An arrival last night was the Kahika fromi the north. She was loading cargo to-day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton. Napier, and Gisborne, and is to sail for those ports to-night. On Friday the Kartigi is to load coal at Westport for discharge at Bluff, Dunedin, and Auckland. The Storm has been fixed to load here to-morrow for Wanganui via ports. The Japanese motor ship Brisbane Maru is at present discharging cargo from Japan at Australian ports. She later crosses to Wellington, being duo there on May 5. Now due at Wellington to-morrow, from Lyttelton, the Somerset completes loading there, and clears the northern port on May 1 for Halifax, Hook of Holland, and London via the Panama Canal.

The P. and O. liner Mongolia has left London for Australia with a good complement of passengers on board; This is the Mongolia’s first voyage _ since being converted to the new tourist accommodation. WAIKOUAITI FURTHER DELAYED, Through a further delay at Sydney on account of rain, tlie Union Company’s Waikouaiti now leaves there on Thursday for Hobart, Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Timaru. She is expected to reach this port about May 10. HAURAKI’S REPAIRS. The Hauraki, which grounded at New Plymouth and in consequence has had to bo/ extensively repaired, is still in dock at Auckland. Any repairs ins ( ide the hull- will be made when the vessel is lying alongside the wharf. The Hauraki is to leave Auckland on May 8 for Vancouver, where she loads Pacific Coast cargo for Now Zealand and Australia. OTATO’S FAST TRIP. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor, cargo liner Otaio, which left!Wo!lingtqn:-at.4- p,m. on March 23; arrived at London at'll.3o a.m. on Thursday after a fast trip of thirty-one days Ohr. The Otaio is to replace the Cambridge, sailing from Liverpool on June G with general cargo for Auckland, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. PACIFIC COAST CARGO. The Golden West, which is scheduled to leave Los Angeles on June 1, will call at Timaru in place of the Golden Coast, sailing on July. 1. PORT FAIRY FOR NELSON. The C. and D. Line advises that its motor ship Port Fairy, at present en route from Liverpool to New Zealand, will include Nelson in her discharigng ports, which will now be Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Nelson.. Tho American steamer Golden Cross arrived at Auckland from Los Angeles yesterday. Tho vessel has cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, ' and Sydney, and is due hero on May 10. THE MATAROA. With passengers, mall, and cargo for New Zealand, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Mataroa is scheduled to clear Southampton on May 22 for Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on June 23. ROTORUA’S PASSENGERS. Duo at Wellington from London and Southampton on May 19. the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Rotorua has the following passengers:— Mis? D. W. Worsam, Miss J. A. Swinton, Mr and Mrs H.
