RATING SYSTEMS.
TO THE EUXTOK. Sir,—-“Think Before You Leap; ” appears to us to have decided to give up tho ghost. He now attempts to throw further dust in the eyes of the electors by saying “ The reason why so much support has been given to the unimproved value system of rating up till now is because of the gross exaggerations and veiled misrepresentation of its advocates.” Wo hardly know whether this is flattering or whether it is -written sarcastically, but what we do believe and have faith in is this: that if those whom it may concern will only do as “ Think Before You Leap ” suggests—and that is, read both his letter and our reply to same—wo feci sure they will come to no other decision than vote for a change over to the unimproved system. Wo give concrete examples of where they have adopted it and are well satisfied. Your correspondent has merely drawn red herrings across tho scent.—Wo are etc., Executive Otago Labour Representation CoM M i xtee . April 27,
