1 MOUNTAIN JUSTICE ’ AT KING EDWARD

Ken Maynard, tlic ever n popnlar star of outdoor .stories, lias the loading role in ‘ Mountain Justice,’ now at the King Kdward Theatre. As Ken I\l‘Tavish. who goes into the mountains of Kentucky with the object of avenging the murder of his lather, Maynard has one of the hardest roles which have ever come ■ his way. The story is an exceedingly interesting one. M'Tavish lias no sooner made ids way into the. mountains than ho becomes mixed up in a feud between two families. Ho lias adopted the pose of a. deaf, wandering fiddler with the object of being able to listen to what is said without others knowing that lie can hoar, for it is his plan to find out who sent the, letter threatening death to his father. Mo meets Coral liarland and antagonises ono Lem, a young man who is in love with the girl. This gives rise to further complications, and Ken finds himself before the court charged with posing as deaf. Soon, Ken deems it wise to disclose his mission, and from that point the story works up to an oxciting climax. The supporting programme is a very entertaining one.
