KALA PASHA BEATS ALLEY [Pi* Uxitbd Press Association] WELLINGTON, July 21. Tho professional match the Town Hall this evening between Tom Alley (13st; and Kala Pasha (12st 101 b) resulted in a win for the latter by two falls to one. In pinning Alley for tho deciding fall Pasha won the match in surprising circumstances, and the bout ended in uproar. Pasha got the first fall of tho match —Submission fall—in tho second round with an arm struggle and chin lock. In tho fourth round Alley got a submission fall with the well-known crucifix. Then, in "the fifth round, Pasha threw Alley three times in sucession with halches, head-locking him, and tossing him on his back. Tho third of those tangled Alley with the ropes. When he got free ho was standing outside tho ropes close to tho ring. Pasha rushed in and throw him in tho same way as before, Alley landing with a thud. He was then easily pinned. There was a great deal of speculation as to tho validity of the fall, but the referee awarded it, and Alley lost tho match. Ho is going to lodge a protest.

It was Pasha's Now Zealand debut. More than 2,000 people were turned away, and the doors bad to be locked long before the big bout started. People outside, it is stated, were offering as much as £2 to £3 to be admitted.

LIGHT HEAVY-WEIGHT HATCH

A light-heavy-weight match between Tom Kae (United- States) and Alex. Lundyn (Finland) resulted in a win for Ilao in the seventh round. Rao threw Lundyn out of the ring as the latter attempted a Hying head scissors, with -which ho secured the first fall just ■previously. Lundyn was knocked out, and the decision went to Kae.
