WIN FOR SOUTH CANTERBURY South Canterbury defeated Mr E. C. Beale’s Auckland tournin'g team by five wickets. The viators made 151 and 125 (Lyon 30, Lawrio 30, Vivian 35). Seaton took four wickets for 29 runs, and M'Beath three for 24. The homo team required 179 to win in two hours, and seen rod the necessary runs ofPy the first .hall of the last over of the day. Hamilton batted a fine innings for 92 not out, and Mason made 72. Owen took four jrickets lor 29 runs.
