RAIN INTERFERES WITH PLAY ALBION DEFEATED Heavy rain caused the abandonment of all matches in the Otago Cricket Association’s competition after loss than half the afternoon had passed. The leaders in the competition, Albion, suffered defeat at the hands of Duneidn by a margin of 139 runs, the outstanding feature of the game being the deadly bowling of the veteran, R. C. Torrance, who took four wickets for 6 runs. A drawn game resulted at Carisbrook, Old Roys having made 38 for two wickets in reply to Carisbrook’s 134, when rain caused a stoppage for the afternoon. Christian Brothers scored a two-point win against Grange. The position of teams in the competition is:
