A TAXICAB FARE

DRIVER WITH NO CHANGE Summoned at Marylcbone, London, for the recovery of 2s 3d taxicab faro, a man pleaded that ho tendered a 10s note in payment, but the driver declared he had no change, and refused to obtain it. The Magistrate (Mr Hay Halkett); It is a great nuisance. Often in the middle of the day taxicab drivers have no change, but they are not bound to' carry it. A fare is supposed to give them the exact Amount.

The man was rdored to pay the fare and 15s costs to the driver.
