ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
WOMAN’S SUDDEN DEATH. An inquest was held yesterday afternoon on Mary Ann O’Brien, aged sixtythree years, who died suddenly on Thursday evening at the residence of her daughter, 34 Heriot row. Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., sat as coroner. Formal evidence was given by Dr Strain, Mrs N. A. Sutton, and Mrs O’Brien’s daughter. The eyidence was to the effect that Mrs O’Brien had not been attended by a doctor previously. The verdict was that death was due to sudden cardiac failure, following a chill. SUICIDE. Henry Albert Crispin j aged fortyfive, a married man, residing near Canvastown (Marlborough) was found hanging in a shed at _ his farm, the circumstances indicating _ suicide.—■ Blenheim Association message.
