(Received October-31, at 10.35 a.m.) At the Pacific Relations Congress, New Zealand supported' tho recent trade agreement with Japan. A strong difference of opinion between the Japanese and Chinese delegates existed ,and ill-feeling was averted by the courtesy and good sense of both delegations, and the general atmosphere of the conference.
