MONTHLY MEETING Routine hnsinoss was transacted at the monthly meeting of the Otago Rowei’ Hoard yesterday afternoon. there being present the chairman (Mr W. H. (ialloway), Messrs U. M. Driver, -I. (incsl, J. Iv. Simpson, L. Carson. R. Hriscoc. and D. Hoyd. The Secretary lit the Treasury ad- \ ised that an Order in Council, authorising the raising of the. Owaka loan had been gazetted, also that authority had been given for the loan to he raised on the instalment repayment system. ENGINEER'S RERORT.
