TRAMWAYS BAND

The Tramways Band will appear in the Botanical Gardens to-morrow- afternoon and evening. The programme is well selected, and will include the marches, ‘Pat in America’ (Hiram Eden), ‘Soldier’s Life,’ ‘ Victors Return ‘ (Rimmer); the waltz, ‘ Wildflower ’ (Rimmer); overture, ‘ Lustspiel ’, (Eeler Bela); patrol, ‘ Red,, White, and Blue ’ (Meacbam); selection, ‘Gondoliers’ (Sullivan) ;■ -and hymns. The band has several vacancies for learners. The public are reminded of the planet word-building competition, which closes on November 19.
