EXPLOSION IH SHOE FACTORY Prew Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, November 8. (Received November 9, at 10 a.m.) A message from Lynn (Massachusetts) states that fourteen persons were killed on Tuesday mo> ning by ah explosion which wrecked the shoe plant of the Preble Hox Toe Company at East Lynn. Nine others who were injured are in a serious condition, and several arc missing. Flames from the explosion burst into a neighbouring house, killing a woman and her four children. The others killed are believed to he workers employed by the Preble Bos Toe Comjpany.—Australian Press Association.
