(Received August 11, at 10 a.m.) A message from Ottawa states that the revenue for the first four months of the year has increased by 13,000,OOOdol. and the expenditure has increased by 4,000,000d01. The total revenue was 168,000,000d01, and the expenditure 107,000,000d01. The population is estimated at 9.680,000, an increase of 139,000 on last year.—Australian Press Association.
