THAMES ROSE OVER SIX FEET
i RUGBY, January 8. | (Received Janmary 9, at noon.) The Thames rose 6ft liu above the predicted height in the course of Saturday’s flood. No record exists of such conditions having occurred before. Historians state that the last Thames flood comparable with that of Saturday occurred nearlv seven centuries ago, in 1235.
