INTERJECTOR AT ST. PAUL’S
A MAN WITH A GRIEVANCE

LONDON, January 8. (Received January 9, at 9.50 a.m.) A man seated behind a pillar, rendering localisation difficult, interrupted the Rev. T. Wellard when he was entering tho pulpit at St. Paul’s this morning by saying; “In the name of the Father and the Son and’ of the people of England I protest against ministers of the Church acting as Christian ministers, because they are accessories to the most hellish wrongs in defiance of the laws of God and man upon the people and the poor by ministers, judges, and law officers.” The vergers asked the interjector to leave, and followed his refusal by forcibly ejecting him. lie withheld his name and address, but promised to return. Ho said that his grievance was against tiie police for arresting poor men on false charges and accepting bribes, in which he declared that ministers and magistrates acquiesced.—A. and N.Z. and ‘Sun’ Cable.
