DRUNK AT THE WHEEL
TWO WEEKS IN GAOL [Pee United Press. Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, January 7. George Novel I, who pleaded guilty to being drunk while in charge of a car, was sentenced to iourtcen days’ imprisonment. His license was cancelled, and ho was prohibited from getting another for five years. The police said he had been fined last year for a similar offence. On a charge of breaking a prohibition order he was convicted and discharged.
