' HO OVERTIME TO BE WORKED SERIOUS EFFECT ON SNIPPING FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS EXPECTED. Ptes-i Association—By Telegraph —Copyright SYDNEY, November 21. A mass meeting of members of the Waterside Workers’ Federation decided, as a protest against the delay of the Federal Arbitration Court in hearing their claims for a new award, not to work overtime from, Monday next. This decision applies to all the States, and will seriously affect oversea and interstate shipping, and delay the shipment of wool and wheat. Serious developments are expected. A message from Melbourne states that the Stevedores’ Association has decided to fall into line with the Waterside Workers’ Federation, and not work overtime.
