A. AND P. SOCIETY

i " 1 '

SUMMER SHOW * Although the weather for some time past has been very boisterous and wet. it has in no way affected the Tahuna Park showground, which this year is in excellent condition. In addition to the usual side shows, there promises to he an excellent display of motor cars, tractors, threshing plants, agricultural machines, and implements, which for some years have been poorly represented. Agricultural _ implements were the feature of all agricultural shows at one time, and the committee is gratified at the support received this year, Messrs John Chambers and Son will exhibit a complete threshing plant, and Messrs Mason, Struthers, Ltd., will run a sheep-shearing machine. All the society requires now is good weather for the show, and, as the entrance fee has been reduced to Is, it is hoped that the general public will accord liberal support.
