FIRE THRILL FOR FALSE ALARM. The Birmingham Fixe Brigade, while attending a fire, was alarmed by a scream from a young woman, who cried* “There is a typewriter inside,” Assuming that another woman was trapped .in the building, several firemen dashed through the flames into the building.
