EVERYBODY'S

A fine comedy is shown in ‘Miss Brewster’s Millions ’ at Everybody’s Theatre. Bebe Daniels has the leading role, and is seen as Polly Brewster, a penniless actress, who has a million dollars left to her on condition that she invests it. Her uncle Ned says ho will give her five millions if she spends the first amount in three months. By backing wild-cat schemes and crazy inventions she managed to fulfill the condition, and goes to her uncle, but is told that all his fortune has been lost on the share market. Broken-hearted, she prepares to return to work, but the young lawyer saves the day for her. On the same programme is 1 Manhattan Madness,’ which deals with a man from the West who says that New York has not enough thrills for him, so his friends decide to show him how exciting New York could be.
