MISS LORIMER'S RECITAL
Keen interest is being shown in musical circlcr: in the recital to be given by Miss Gladys LOrimer, .the brilliant coloratura soprano, in His Majesty’s Theatre on November 30. Miss Lorimer leaves in the near future for Europe to embark on an operatic career, for which her talents and attainments eminently suit her. Her programme is a particularly brilliant one, and will include the following numbers:—The Mad Scene from ‘ Lucia di Lammermoor.’ (Donizette), ‘ Vilanella’ (Sibclla), ‘Una, voce poco fa’ item .‘The Barber of Seville’ (Rossini), ‘ Lo, Hear the Gentle Lark’ (Bishop), ‘Caro Nome’ from ‘Rigoletto ’ (Verdi), ‘Pierrot’ (Homer Samuels), ‘The Rose Enslaves the Nightingale ’ (Rimsky-Korsakov), ‘Vlllanelle’ (Dell’Acqa), ‘Brahms grand Dio’ from ‘The Pearl Fishers’ (Bizet), ‘Echo Song’ (Bishop), The box plan will open at The Bristol on Thursday next, where scats may. be reserved.
