AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. SYDNEY, November 18. Wheat.—ln view of the continued weakness overseas, local shippers are reluctant to make offers for the season’s delivery. The nominal value is about 4s 8d at country stations. Local millers have again adjusted their offers for Noveraber-December delivery at 5s 3d to 5s 4d, ex truck, at Sydney. Flour.—£l2 10s, f.0.b., NovemberDecembor shipment; old season’s, nominally £ls 10s. Oats.—Tasmanian Algerian, 3s lOd to 4s; white, 4s 3d to 4s 6d. Maize.—South African, 7s fid. Onions.—Victorian, £l2 to £l6; local, £l2 to £l3/ Potatoes.—Tasmanian, £lB to £25; New Zealand, nominally £ls; Victorian, £23; Western Australian, £27; local, £2O to £23. ADELAIDE, November 18. There was fair general competition for furriers’ sorts, which brought 10 per cent, above September prices. Medium batters at late rates to 5 per cent, decline. Lower grades were 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, advance. German buyers competed strongly for the best furriers. BUTTER AND CHEESE. LONDON, November 18. Cold-stored New Zealand is unchanged in price, hut buyers consider that the New Zealand control prices of the new arrivals, 148 s and 150 s, _ are too high, consequently there is very little selling. Multiple shops have reduced the retail mice of the' best salted to Is 5d per Cheese 5s slow. New Zealand, 84u and 85s.
