A ZEALOUS BIGAMIST
DESERTED TWO [Pbk United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, November 19. In the Supreme Court to-day Joseph William Henry Darke, aged thirty-two, was sentenced to twelve months in gaol for bigamy. The police gave evidence that accused deserted his English wife, and then came to New Zealand, went through the form of marriage with a woman in Christchurch, whom he deserted, and has since been living with a third woman.
