Smeaton and Co.’s office last evening to dispose of £2,000. Mr F. W. Mitchell, who presided, stated that shares were coming in steadily for No. 10 group, which was already a strong group; and that a further appropriation would be arranged at an early date. A ballot was held for the 126th appropriation in No. 3 group, cluster. No. 48 being drawn, held by one shareholder; a sale for the 127t1i appropriation in No. 3 group, £SOO, at £l2 per hundred;a ballot for the 22nd appropriation in No. 8 group, cluster No. 118, held by one shareholder; a sale for the 23rd appropriation in No. 8 group, £SOO, at £36 and £33. The chairman stated that a further £2,000 would be disposed of on December 9. .

The Royal Show concluded at Auckland yesterday in fine weather. The gate takings were £303, making the total £2.441) for the three days,, Mr J. A. Johnstone (Dunedin) had the championship exhibit in Corriedale rams.
