THEFT FROM SAFE
[Peh United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 17. Horace Clifford Allan, aged twenty* five, a porter at the Carlton Hotel, charged in the Magistrate’s Court, admitted the theft of £ll2 from the licensee, Leslie James Traill. Evidence was given that the money was taken from the safe over a period of some months. It is alleged that is missing. Accused was committed for sentence.
