MOTOR MOTOR KILLED

CHRISTCHURCH MAH FALLS FROM MACHINE A young man named J. Harrison, belonging to Christchurch, fell from a motor cycle near Otokia yesterday afternoon. Ho was found unconscious by Dr Sutherland, who stated that his car was passed on the road by a motor cyclist, who was travelling at a very fast speed. The motor cyclist apparently could not negotiate a sharp bend in the road, as tho doctor found tho man lying on the road with his machine near by. Harrison was removed to the Dunedin Hospital in an unconscious condition and was operated on. He did not regain consciousness, and died at 9.55 a.m. to-day. The inquest will be opened at the hospital at 9 o’clock to-morrow morning.
