In the “ Miss New Zealand ” beauty competition the voting by His Majesty’s Theatre audiences to date tor the" Auckland Queen and her Maid of Honor place the quartet in the following order: —Anita Sutherland, Diptin Strange. Ellen Forde, Quceme Graham. . Dunedin’s r epresentatives, Thelma M'Millan and Marie Oaten* are having a thoroughly enjoyable time. While keen to see the Queen City beauty carry off dominion honors, Aucklanders recognise in the two far-southern girls formidable rivals to this province’s competitors.
