No questions were asked.—Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Cable. [On October 14 last Mrs Donahue had pearls valued at 680,000d0l stolen from the Metropolitan Hotel, New York. The thieves followed ill's Donahue from London in tho same steamer. They obtained adjoining rooms at the hotel and watched their chance to enter while she and her maid were in the bathroom.
