(Received March 9, at 1.20 a.m.) Wheat.—May, 181 cents per . bushel; July, 1621; September, 1492. Wheat prices were forced down sharply as the result of an avalanche of soiling orders, based largely on favorable crops over the entire grain-growing belt Other grains followed tho downward turn, causing wild scenes in the trading pits.—A. and N.Z. Cable. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Messrs Nimnio and Blair have received the following cable from their London agent, dated tho 6th inst. : —Cheese : Market firm, 102 s per cwt. Butter ; Market quiet, 180 s per cwt. A company known as Builders, Limited, has just been registered. The scheme is so framed that it will be able to offer to the public at a comparatively low price a really good class of dwelling adopting, to a certain extent, the principles of standardisation. One of the company’s objects is avowed in a clause “ for providing commodious and healthy dwellings and to give tho maximum accommodation at a minimum price.”
