OCTAGON. ‘The Code of the Sea.’ a Paramount! picture, gives the star Rod La Eocque a strong role, which will appeal to all. The story is one of duty and love at sea. The photography is good, and the scenes ere more than above the ordinary. A rraily line list of supports will be shown, and, together with the orchestra (under Mr A. Xcatc), an excellent bill may be witnessed. This programme is being screened at the Octagon Theatre. EVERYBODY’S. A double-feature programme is at present being shown at Everybody's Theatre, The main picture is ‘What Fools Men Are,’ described as the story of <t girl who played with lire, and escaped oy a miracle. Fairs Binney and .1. Barmy Sherry enact the title roles. Feature Xo. 2 is packed with thrills, tights, and action, and, above all, is a most spectacular production. The title of the picture is ‘Lost in a Big City.’ EMPIRE. To lovers of a. bright and breezy story ‘The Perfect Flapper,’ showing at the Empire, .should on no account be missed. Colleen Moore is seen in the chief part ns a young society girl who invites some 400 friends to a party. Only a few accept, but the evening turns out to lie more lively Ilian was auticiptacd. The remainder of the, programme is filled with comedies, gazettes, etc. Music is supplied by the. Empire Orchestra,, under the admirable direction of Mr C. Parnell. QUEEN’S. Tom Mix’s only rival, Fred. Thomson, heads the cast in,, ‘The Dangerous Coward,’ now being screened at the Queen’s Theatre. It is a thrilling story of adventure and romance, with a real rodeo show. A splendid variety of other pictures will be shown.
