A northern paper, in its report of the fourth Chautauqua entertainment, said: “ Miss Eileen Pasco Webb is a young lady of much versatility. The reports of her glorious contralto voice had not been exaggerated one iota. Miss Leshia Dobson is a solo pianiste oi outstanding merit, and her accompaniments to Miss Pasco Webb’s vocal solos were an education of aspiring accompanists.” Of Dr Carpenter, the same entio soldi "There can be no doubt as to the powers of Dr D. Carpenter as a lecturer. He held his audience enthralled.
