SIXPENNY HAVANAS
Cigar smokers will bo interested to know (says the ‘ Sunday Chronicle ’) that genuine hand-made Havanas at the pre-war price of sixpence are now on tho market. One firm at the Tobacco Exhibition, which opened at Olympia, London, stated that they have executed orders for half a million of them, and that they hope to import another half a. million in the next few weeks. .“This,” said an expert, “will do much to restore the cigar trade to its old state, and already tho demand is outpacing the supply.”
