SOLDIER IMMIGRANTS, Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, October 13. One hundred and eight thousand three hundred and sixty-four applications from ex-scrvicemen for free, passages have been received by the Overseas KcHlement Committee, representing over 200,000 individuals. Although the applications close on December 31, it is anticipated that more will bo despatched next year than this number. The applications of exservicemen which have been approved since April total 12.409. including Canada 5.035, Australia. 4.822. New Zealand 1.081, and Roalh Africa 902.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
