PRINCESS THEATRE
MISS LAURA GUERITE TO-NIGHT. To-night, at tho Princess Theatre, Miss_ Laura Guerite, the celebrated English revue favorite, will make her debut. This artist was secured at what is said to_ be a salary unprecedented on tho circuit by Sir Benjamin Fuller on his last trip Home. Miss Guerite is by birth a Frenchwoman,, and,_ according to report, she reveals her birth in her remarkable style and insouciance, and in the distinctive individuality of her frocking. On tho other hand, her professional career has been spent in London and Now York, and she exemplifies the best comedy gifts of both stage styles. Her art consists, of broad humor, subtle character touches, and a vein of pathos.
Tho other newcomer will be Corona, “ the wandering musician,” a very clever performer on tho cornet. New matter is hilled for the Smart Set Diggers, Berge and English, Marion Mahr, and Brull and Hemsloy.
