SCOTTISH LIQUOR POLL, LONDON, December- 25. , The completion of the Local Option.' polling in Scotland, which began in November, shows that a vote was taken in 573 areas ont of 1,214, into which the country is divided. Of 1,153,978 votes registered. 60 per cent.- voted for no change, 33 per cent, ifor No-Hcenso, and 2 per cent, for the reduction of licenses. The net result is that 447 licenses, of which 99 are. in Glasjjo-w, "willlje-cancelled out of 9.571 in a whole.county;—A. and! NJZL Cable.

In the House of Commons Mr Kii McLean condemned the passing of esti-. mates ahonnting to £559,000,090 in tmo night. He asked for the appointment of an.
