LATE SHIPPING

THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori arrived at Lyttalton at 8.55 a.m. to-day from Wellington, and mails and passengers connected with the second express for the south. WESTRALIA LEAVES MELBOURNE. The Westralia, which has been under repairs at Melbourne, left the Victorian port yesterday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due here on May 21, and is scheduled to sail on May 22 for Bluff and Melbourne. REMUERA FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the liner Remuera is expected to arrive at this port on May 20 from London and north New Zealand ports. After discharging 1,200 tens of general merchandise the Eemuera will load a large shipment of frozen meat and other cargo at Port Chalmers for London. PORT MELBOURNE AT AUCKLAND. The liner Port Melbourne arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon from London and Galveston via Panama. The vessel, after discharging a part cargo of sulphur at the northern port, will go to Newcastle. Sydney, and Melbourne to complete discharge. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL. The following steamers should be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night : —Awanui : Whangape (Makatea Island to Auckland), Orari (Melbourne to Auckland), Port Nicholson (Sydney to Auckland), British Light, Port Kembla. Auckland : Port Nicholson, British Light. Wellington : Paloona (Wellington to Melbourne), Tutanekai, Wailiemo, Otaki, Manuka, Monowai, Opawa, Awarna- : Kaiapoi (Melbourne to Bluff), Tainni (Bluff to Wellington). ARAWA FROM ENGLAND. Advice received by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company states that the liner Arawa left Southampton on May 6 for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, andPorfc Chalmers. The vessel is due at Auckland about- June 17.
