DUNEDIN ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY

Th© members of this society are confident that the concsrt to be given on Wednesday night at His Majesty's lheatre will certainly be up to the high standard which their subscribers expect. The overtures ' Rienzi' and ' Oberon are included in the programme. Miss Charlotte Scott (mezzo-soprano) and Mr W. ■ Ewart Crewes, of Wellington (baritone), are the vocalists. Mr .Crewes's fine baritone voice will be heard in 'Crown of the Year' and 'lnvictus.'. The former aong is noted for its brightness and rhythm, and has been specially selected fair this concert. The box plan at The Bristol is filling rapidly', and early application for reserved seats is necessary.
