. DUNEDIN EASTER- TOURNAMENT. Third Dai.—Monday. As was planned, the Rinks games were brought to a finish at the Dunedin Green yesterday afternoon. To do bo necessitated some thinking out in order to bring on players as they were freed from the Pairs, and in this connection wo note the j the sagacious management of Mr W. Wright and the other members of the Dunedin Centre Executive, whose workall through the tournament has been of a self-denying and wise nature. The Rinks resulted thus:— PROVINCIAL RINKS. —Semi-finals.-*-Hutchison (Caledonian) 14 heat Tonkin' {North-east Valley) 15. Foster (Caledonian) 16 beat Miller (Koslyn) 9. —Final.— Y. Cavanagh, D. Smyth, J. Scott, and W. Foster (Caledonian) 19 boat F. Farrell, C. Grace, C. Lyng, and D. Hutchison (Caledonian) 12. Up to the tenth head the scores were even. After that Foster drew away for a substantial win. The time limit of two hours and three-quarters had exnired when the twentieth head- was comnloted. CITY RINKS. —Semi-finals.— ..Pryde (Te Rangi) 15 beat Dotting (Mornington) 13. Crawford (Otago) 12 beat Thompson (Balmacewen) —Final.— I. Peterson. R. Dunlop, J. Bewlev and T. Pryde (Te Rangi) 24 beat W. M’Donald. H. Rowley, W. G. Hav, and W. Crawford (Otago) 23. At the ninth head Te Rangi led by 15 to 3; at the seventeenth head Te Rangi were 22 to Otago’s 11. Then Otago scored 5 twice in succession, following with a 2, thus getting a lend of 1. It wore veil—a little paler this morning than yesterday, and not so fiery, but playing true and drawing as much as it did with the sun shining. Very light-rain just'before 12 o’clock did not interfere with the play. Results: PROVINCIAL PAIRS. B. Iggo and A. Thomson (Oaversham) 13 beat D Millar and W. Anderson (Balmacewen) 11. M. Thomson began with a 4, and at the seventh head was 6to Francis’s 5. Francis put on 2 on the eighth head. Thomson 2 on the ninth, and Francis' 1 on the tenth, malting 8 all. Francis scored lon (lie eleventh and Thomson 4 on the twelfth and 1 on the thirteenth' head, when the bell stopped play. Each side began with a2; then Scott put on 5, .Steel responding with 2. Scott got 4 &n the fifth head" and 1 on the sixth ; Steel 1 on the seventh, Scott 2 on the eighth, Steel 1 on the ninth and 2 on the tenth, and Scott 1 on the eleventh and last. CITY PAIRS. Gale 17 beat Hutchison 13. Vcitch 14 beat Abbott 11. Gale began with a 1 and a 2, and after Hutchison had scored a single Gale put on 3. Hutchison replied with 5 and 1. On tiie seventh head Gale scored 5, making Ins score 12-5. Hutchison then made 1 and 2, and Gale responded with 2. the score at the tenth h-.?,d being: Gale, 14; Hutchison, 8. Hutchison'’ put on 2, 2. and i in the next three heads: then Gale made a 1 and 2, and won by 4 on the fifteenth head.

Abbott opened with 2 and 1; then Veitch 2 and Abbott a single. Veitch then got. 3 and 1, so that at the seventh head the score was:—Veitch, 6; Abbott, 4-_ Abbott put on 2 and Veitch a pair of singles. Abbott, responded with two 2'e. giving him on the twelfth head a lead of 10-8; but Veitch scored 6on the thirteenth head, and Abbott got a single on the fourteenth and last.

The finals were fixed for 1.30. the game to be 21 heads.
