Steam Navigation Company show a profit of £919,427, from which tho provident fund is allocated £50,000, tho contingent fund £40,000, and tho oniount carried forward is £31,726. The Auckland Trams show a profit of £83,723. Depreciation ' and renewals absorb £25,000, and a sum of £IO,OOO is added to the reserve. Tho dividend for tho year is Is 6d per share, and the carry forward is £5,973. Ba.nk of New Zealand, £B4; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile, £lO7.
