THE WELLAND CANAL

The Canadian Government announce that, as part of the reconstruction programme, thev will complete tho Welland Canal, at a cost of £4,000,000. [Tho Welland Canal connects Lake Erie with Lake Ontario by a route on tho Canadian side about 10 miles west of the Niagara River and Falls.]
