At the Hawke's Bay Anglican Diocesan Synod on Saturday the following resolution was carried unanimously :—" That this synod believe that the times call for now and strong measures for dealing with the liquor question, and therefore commend to all churchmen in the diocese the recommendation of the National Efficiency Board as worthy of their whole-hearted support."
