FRENCH SUCCESS EAST OF THE MEUSE. LONDON, March 5. French communique : East- of the Meuse we conducted an extensive coup de main, penetrating to the enemy's fourth line, on a front of 1,200 metres, reaching a depth of 600 metres at a certain point.
