EFFICIENCY BOARD
Tho Oamaru Chamber of Commerce yesterday expressed regret at the unfortunate position created by the threatened resignation of the National Efficiency Board. It was decided to telegraph to the Prime Minister expressing the hope that the report of the hoard would receive the full consideration of the Government, and that even yet the valuable services of the board might bo retained. The Clutha branch of the Farmers' Union, passed a resolution strongly urging tli-a Government to retain the services of tho Efficiency Board.
