A French communique states: On the right bank of the Meuse we successfully attacked between Marmont Farm and Bois le Chaume,,aud captured all our objectives on a four-kilometre front to a. depth of a kilometre. The whole of Bois des luwses and Bois de Beaumont is in our hands. We have reached the southern outskirts of the Vilkige of Beaumont. Our artillery caught and dispersed with heavy losses a violent, counter-attack debouching on Bois de la Wavrille.
