CHRISTCfiURCrI, February 19. Mr Ellis, secretary of the Freezing Workers' Federation, "has circularised all unions connected with the freezing works industry, inviting them to a grand conference to be held in Wellington on March 27. The conference will receive the report of tho Australian organiser (Mr Ogden), and will discuss the amalgamation of existing unions in each industrial district into one union, draft a constitution, and elect officers. The basis of representation will be one slaughterman, 0r.6 freezing worker,' and one fellmonger from each district.
