At their auction rooms Ic-day Messrs John Rei-d and Sens, Ltd., offered at auction several properties to a. good attendant- of the. public. Mr G. A. FenwiekV; residential properly at fit.Clair attracted a. lot of at'ention and iair bidding, but wan ultimately passed in. the owner's reserve not being reached. It is now for sale privately. A lease and buiMines in George street .also failed to find a, purchaser, as did a nice residence and freehold in Macandrew road. Juddng from ihe bidding, it le. hoped that business will result at ar earlv date.
