REHABILITATING LABOR,
ADELAIDE, February 19.

The Premier of South Australia is calling a meeting of loyal 'members of both Federal and State parties with the object of forming a. new Labor party.

MELBOURNE,- February 19. In order to restrict the expenditure on amusements a regulation prohibits the erection or alteration of buildings used for amusement purposes without the consent of the Treasurer.
NEW CALEDONIA HURRICANE
BRISBANE, February 19. News has been received from the cable office at Gomen that New Caledonia has been visited by a davastatinc; hurricane. At Onaco most of the houses were demolished. The cable station at Gomen was destroyed, but the instruments have been fitted up in the open air. So far no loss of life has been reported.
